The Problem
Many young people growing up working in Agriculture enter an ‘informal’ career direction that makes it hard for them to articulate their non-certified skills and experience. They lack a standardised way to showcase, store and prove their skills and experience in digitally scalable way.
This leads to high job turnover rates, low job security and negative socio-economic outcomes

The Approach
Applying the Triniti Innovation Design Sprint process we worked with the NSW Government, Agricultural schools, teachers and employers to come up with another simple yet powerful solution:
The Innovation Design Sprint is a rapid process for answering critical problem/solution questions through design, prototyping, and testing ideas with users. Design Sprints allows organisations to shorten the endless-debate cycle and compress months of work into weeks by working in a structured and guided way. Instead of waiting to launch an actual product to understand if the idea is feasible, organisations get clear data from a realistic prototype that answers key question on the Financial, User and Technology dimensions.
Following the process, we created the "AgriSkills Map" - that uniquely maps out the key agricultural skills areas and fits on a single page. This was purposefully done to allow agricultural workers to easily showcase their skills and experience, and have conversations with potential employees without the need for technology. Based on overwhelmingly positive user feedback we built a working prototype platform that scaled the Map through technology and allowed workers to share and showcase their map as a resume. Finally we added a credential management component to the platform to help workers showcase and manage their credentials.

Agritech
The AgriSkills Map tested extremely well in schools and was adopted in a number of regions in Regional NSW. Schools printed the AgriSkills Map out as a giant poster so that schools kids could see their career pathways everyday.
Based on the positive user feedback we built a working prototype platform that scaled the Map through technology and allowed workers to share and showcase their map as a resume. Again this was extremely well received and schools insisted on using the prototype as soon as possible.
Triniti went further created a simple yet powerful Credential Management platform that allows workers in agricultural and trade based jobs to easily showcase, store and prove their credentials. This provides certainty to employers that workers have the appropriate "right-to-work".
